Diagnosis of Gaucher disease is clinically challenging. It’s rare and symptoms can be nonspecific and heterogeneous nature. Hence, Gaucher Disease is generally not a part of the consideration list when clinicians evaluate differential diagnosis.

Even after the diagnosis its many a times difficult to differentiate between the different phenotypes- and this differentiation is essential because each type has a very different line of management and has direct bearing on the outcome. While genotypic information is helpful, but it cannot always be used to make clinical predictions.

To help a physician quickly suspect a case of Gaucher Disease and decide on appropriate line of management, Takeda (supported by PlexusMD) has organized an interactive live webinar on 8th September 2020, Tuesday, 12pm.
